Tyler Stone oversees project managers and estimators, and manages office operations. Son of Danny Stone, Tyler joined his brother Brody and father in the formation of Stone and Sons. Tyler attended Auburn University and majored in Building Science. He holds a Master’s License in Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Mississippi.
While Tyler was in college, Danny and Brody worked together for an electrical contracting company. After they left that business to start Stone and Sons, Tyler began working with them once a week while completing his degree. He worked on estimates and developed an estimating spreadsheet and a program for the transportation division. Upon graduation, Tyler worked in the field until he became field manager. Working as a team is what makes working at Stone and Sons worthwhile for Tyler. He enjoys how each person’s skills come together to make a project work, bouncing ideas off one another, and working together to build a positive work flow.
Tyler attributes the success of Stone and Sons to the dedication of his brother and father, as well as a team of skilled professionals. His clients know they can count on Tyler and his team for quality work. “We don’t do short cuts,” says Tyler. Making sure clients are fully satisfied while getting the most for their money is what the company is about.
As a husband and father, Tyler enjoys the family life. In his spare time, Tyler’s favorite past time is factory race car driving.
